Antinori P?ppoli Chianti Classico 2010: Bright red-ruby. Redcurrant, dusty herbs and flowers on the nose, complemented by sweet spices. Supple and vinous, showing easy sweetness and plenty of bright fruit. Seems more concentrated, precise and deep than any recent Peppoli vintage I can think of. Finishes with good grip and moderately long sweet fruit flavors. Makes a great pizza wine, but can also match up to more complex dishes as well this vintage. Very good, solid entry-level wine, and an even better value than usual. Score - 89. (Ian D'Agata, International Wine Cellar, Sept. 2012) Tags: Red Wine, Sangiovese, Sangiovese (Chianti), Wine |

Antinori Pian Delle Vigne Brunello Di Montalcino 2007: A juicy almost jammy Brunello, with blueberry and cherry character. Full and velvety, with lots of fruit and a delicious finish. All in fruit and generosity. Better in 2014. Score - 92. (James Suckling, jamessuckling.com, Jan. 25, 2012) Tags: Red Wine, Sangiovese, Sangiovese (Chianti), Wine |

Antinori Solaia 2009: The 2009 Solaia is one of the clear standouts of the vintage. Freshly cut flowers, raspberries, spices, mint and licorice burst from the glass as this fabulous, viscerally thrilling wine shows off its pure class. Today the oak is a bit prominent, but that won't be an issue by the time the wine is ready to drink. In one of my blind tastings, the 2009 Solaia was flat-out great. There is no shortage of pedigree here ... Solaia is 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Franc from a single parcel within the Antinori family's Tignanello vineyard. Anticipated maturity: 2019-2029. Score - 96+. (Antonio Galloni, erobertparker.com, June 2012) Tags: Blend - Other, Cabernet Sauvignon Blend, Red Wine, Wine |

Antolini Ca' Coato Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico 2008: This delivers enormous aromatic intensity that rises from the glass in a determined and immediate manner. The nose is awash in aromas of ripe fruit, leather, tobacco, exotic spice and black pepper. The soft, chewy mouthfeel is capped by a strong blast of roasted coffee bean. Score - 91.
