Adar De Elviwines Cava Brut Kp: Our panel was very impressed with this delightful sparkling wine. A blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada grapes, this crisp fizz is made in the traditional method. Showing light toast, citrus and floral aromas on the nose, it's dry and light bodied with crisp fresh apple and citrus fruit flavours leading to a long, focused finish. Very nice and an excellent value. Great with light fish dishes or for celebrations any day of the week. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2009)

Angels Gate Archangel Pinot Noir Brut Rosé 2008: A fun and frothy pink bubbly with some seriousness underneath. A bright salmon-orange colour in the glass, it offers up notions of strawberry, raspberry, orange rind and bakery pastry. Dry, light bodied, fresh and lively with a fine mousse and a crisp, savoury/tangy finish. This is a fine sipper in its own right, or pair with seafood tapas or veggie salads. Antech Expression Brut Crémant De Limoux 2008: This refreshing sparkling wine is made in the traditional method using a blend of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc and Mauzac (the traditional principal variety of Limoux in Languedoc). Limoux stakes its claim to being the original sparkling wine region, even before Champagne! Aromas of citrus fruit, toast and nuts on the nose. Dry, with a lovely crisp acidity, bold white fruit, pear and custard notes on the palate. Enjoy this flavourful Crémant de Limoux with freshly shucked oysters. (VINTAGES panel, July 2010)
