Silvio Carta Badde Alva Vermentino Di Sardegna 2009: Attractive yellow-straw colour with aromas of caramel apple, pear, baked earth, dried herbs and spice. Dry, fairly robust and fruity with fine, zippy acids and an herb-accented finish. Poised, crisp and very nicely made. Enjoy it with grilled herbed chicken, or shrimp with pasta and pesto.
