Tasting Note: The Roussette grape (showcased here as a 100% stand-alone varietal wine) lends its name to an AC in Savoie, the French alpine wine region that borders Switzerland. The area is so popular as a summer vacation spot, and for winter sport enthusiasts, that little of the wine produced here is seen outside the region. This example delivers aromas of apple, pear, bergamot tea, hazelnut and honeycomb. Dry, medium bodied and round with a crisp acidity, the palate offers ripe apple, hints of melon and a crisp finish. Enjoy with light shrimp dishes, or as an aperitif. (VINTAGES panel, March 2011) Out of stock Tags: Varietal - Other, White Wine, Wine
