Blandy's 5-Year-Old Bual Madeira: TASTING NOTE: Bual is a sweeter style of Madeira. This has a terrific, complex nose of coffee, raisins, dried wood and walnuts. It's medium-full bodied with fiery core built on well balanced acidity, tannin and 19% alcohol. It dries to a nutty and dried orange finish that echoes to outstanding length. Very impressive. Blandy's 5-Year-Old Malmsey Rich Madeira: TASTING NOTE: Deep, dark amber. Rich nose with hints of raisin, brown sugar, dried fruit. Also a touch of pine and eucalyptus. Well rounded sweet mouth with citrus notes and more raisin. Great balance and full finish. Score: Silver Medal - Best in Class (Tasting Panel, International Wine and Spirit Competition, 2008)
