Adar De Elviwines Cava Brut Kp: Our panel was very impressed with this delightful sparkling wine. A blend of Macabeo, Xarel-lo, and Parellada grapes, this crisp fizz is made in the traditional method. Showing light toast, citrus and floral aromas on the nose, it's dry and light bodied with crisp fresh apple and citrus fruit flavours leading to a long, focused finish. Very nice and an excellent value. Great with light fish dishes or for celebrations any day of the week. (VINTAGES panel, Aug. 2009)

Bailly Lapierre Rserve Brut Crmant De Bourgogne: Based on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay, this is a typical light, creamy and frothy Crémant. It has lively pear and red apple juice flavors, with great crisp acidity. Score - 89. (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, May 2011)

Belcanto Di Bellussi Prosecco Di Valdobbiadene Superiore: Fresh, clean and aromatic, with classic pear and apple blossom aromas and flavours. Blu Giovello Prosecco: Pale straw colour; aromas of citrus, pears and pineapple; dry, lively bubbles, zesty citrus and pear flavours.

Blue Mountain Brut: This excellent bottle-fermented sparkling wine is a blend of 61% Pinot Noir, 36% Chardonnay and 3% Pinot Gris. The two years that the wine rested on its lees has given this a Champagne-like toasty note on the aroma (along with citrus) and on the palate. The wine, with lively and persistent bubbles, is crisp and dry on the finish. With just 12.5% alcohol, the wine is ever so easy to drink. Score - 92. Ca' Dei Mandorli Le Donne Dei Boschi Brachetto D'Acqui 2011: Attractive raspberry, strawberry, table grapes and a hint of mocha spice. Pleasantly soft, sweet and easygoing with lovely juicy fruit and a creaminess to the texture. Pair with berry tarts or chocolate-dipped strawberries.
