Description

Four hockey dads established this Hespeler, Ontario brewery in 2015. Schevchenko 9 is a traditional Ukrainian Dunkel, brewed to the original style. It has aromas of malt, caramel and toast and flavours of toasted malt, chocolate and coffee. The finish is bittersweet and complex. Pair with filled dumplings or cabbage rolls.

Tasting Notes

Four hockey dads established this Cambridge, Ontario brewery in 2006. Schevchenko 9 is a European dark lager named in honour of the Ukrainian soccer great. It has aromas of malt, caramel and toast and flavours of toasted malt sweetness, chocolate and coffee. The finish is soft with a balanced bitterness. Pair with perogies.
