70% Carignan, 30% Grenache. Deep, dark though not saturated black-red. Dense, close-grained aromas of great subtlety and complexity: a sense of stone and savoury depths as well as sweet yet austere black fruits. Deep, dark, vivid and profound yet provocative flavours which, as the aromas suggested, tread the fine line between sweetness and austerity (thanks to the Carignan-dominated blend). There is great complexity and finesse here. Drink Date: 2018-2025. Platinum - Best in Show. Score - 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2018)
