Description

From Peumo, one of the traditional zones for carmenere in Chile, this shows the influence of the warm climate on its ripe red fruits and its sweet spicy notes. Aged for 12 months in barrels, with 3% new oak, the fruity side predominates over the herbs and spices on the palate in a wine with firm but very fine tannins. The general sensation is of freshness.
