Not yet bottled, the 2017 Gigondas Tradition offers a more classic, almost Burgundian vibe as well as complex notes of dark fruits, rare steak, violets, and ground pepper. It's pure, elegant, and seamless on the palate, and has a great finish. This wine is 72% Grenache, 23% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre and Cinsault, brought up [in] larger oak casks. Score - 91-94.
