Description

Extremely deep intense purple colour. Slightly spicy, somewhat earthy, complex, quite lovely, maturing, ripe, plum-cassis-black-cherry nose with some savoury, sandalwood-cedar notes. Dry, full bodied, well structured, rich, cedary, intense, still quite youthful, ripe, dense, plum-cherry-cassis flavours with a lingering, faintly earthy, complex, mouthfilling finish. This extraordinary blend of 60% Mavrodafni and 40% Mavro Kalavritino was aged for 31 months in oak - 85% French and 15% American. Has 14.5% alcohol and 4 g/L residual sugar with lot number L16222 on the back label. Only 10,000 bottles produced.
