Description

This is very good and unfussy with dark fruits that are rich and well balanced and not trying too hard. This feels enjoyable and relaxed and has great AOC typicity. It's really what I expect to find in a Lalande with juicy and rich black fruits - a wine that feels like it's from Pomerol but is more accessible at this early stage. Owned by the Dutch-French Champseix family. Drinking window: 2019-2034. Score - 92. (Jane Anson, decanter.com, Aug. 7, 2019)
