Description

This wine has been made in a sympathetic way to capture the best of this beautiful variety, which is so well suited to the Barossa Valley. It's partly whole bunch and partly crushed with a couple of weeks on skins in a way that replicates the techniques of Beaujolais. It also then gets 15 months in seasoned oak. You'll fall in love with the seductive spicy raspberry and cherry characters that lifts effortlessly from the glass. There's a hint of liqueur chocolate and a lick of vanilla bean adding to the complexity. This is just such a yummy gluggable little wine. Drink date: 2022-2027. Score - 94.
