Deep red-ruby. Spicy citrus fruits, minerals, balsamic oils and woodsy notes on the captivating nose. Offers lovely vibrancy to its earthy and musky red fruit and mineral flavors, nicely complicated by a perfumed floral undertone. Very well balanced, with a long clean spicy finish. This is yet another knockout, smashingly good Faro from the 2016 vintage. A blend of Nerello Mascalese, Nocera, Nero d'Avola and Nerello Cappuccio. Drinking window: 2021-2028. Score - 94.
