Description

Elegant yet power-packed, Pithos bursts with dark cherry, strawberries drizzled with balsamic vinegar, and baking spices. So vibrant that it virtually shimmers across the palate, this wine wraps your mouth in complex notes that balance its succulent fruit with savoury minerals as it builds to a persistent, caressing finish. A blend of organically grown Nero d'Avola (60%) and Frappato (40%) deriving from limestone and clay soils, this wine vinifies with naturally occurring yeast in terracotta amphoras for seven months before bottling. Smoky yet fruit-laden, this is a terrific introduction to the COS experience.
