Description

Domaine Simonis is one of the biodynamic pioneers in Alsace, eliminating chemicals over 20 years ago. The family has been cultivating vines in Ammerschwihr since the 17th century. This Pinot Noir comes from a plot hand harvested at full maturity. After 3 weeks of maceration, the wine ages sur lies for a few month. Deep and structured red wine, you will find notes of ripe red fruits like blackberry and blueberry. It's best accompanied with red meat, charcuterie and cheese.
