Description

This is a nicely fragrant, generous yet even-handed shiraz and cabernet - a blend with which Australia excels. All the fruit comes from the coastal Langhorne Creek region of South Australia, known for exuberant cabernet in particular. This has a solid, racy, saline-mineral centre. The nose is lifted with currants, cherry, mint and graphite and pepper. Gets a bit green, chippy and peppery on the finish, but it's intense. The length is very good to excellent. Score - 89.
