44.1% shiraz, 43.1% cabernet sauvignon, 5.4% petit verdot, 5.1% malbec, 2% tempranillo, 0.3% merlot fermented separately and matured in a mix of used oak and tanks with staves for 15 months. This is some collection, and some mathematical genius in determining the 0.3% of merlot, and a disdainful eye at the seventh variety (viognier co-fermented with some of the shiraz). A lot of blood, sweat and tears was also added to a wine that could one day knock your socks off, for its superabundant fruits will give it a long afterlife. Special Value. Drink by 2036. Score - 92.
