The 2012 Maria Mora Enamorada Tinto, an Alentejo offering in partnership with Nunes Barata ... is an equal blend of Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon aged for 14 months in 50% new French oak. It comes in at 14.5% alcohol. Dense and concentrated, this is sensually textured with velvet. It features a long finish nuanced with beef. Despite the late release, it is still just a little tight, even after 90 minutes in a glass. Beautifully balanced, complex and intense in structure and flavors, this is pretty fine. It should age very well. It may yet improve more. Drink date: 2019-2035. Score - 94. (Mark Squires, robertparker.com, Aug. 30, 2019)
