Great price and value for this quite complex, deep traditional method sparkler. Shows generous, complex aromas of baked apple, dried fried onion, a touch of honey and spice. It is medium bodied, tart, bold and grippy on the palate. Not quite as fine as the average Champagne, but sure delivers similar complexity and depth. At an unbelievable price. Score - 91.
