This is an off-dry chenin blanc from the Loire, with the typical tenderness of the Loire's lower alcohol whites (12.5%) in this instance. It has a fairly generous nose of riper than usual pear/melon fruit, elderflower and a touch of orange blossom. It is quite smooth, almost satiny and quite sweet, with very good length. Chill well.
