Description

This white AOC Côtes du Rhône is a blend of 75% Grenache Blanc, 15% Viognier and 10% Clairette. The yield was 40 hectolitres per hectare. The colour is a clear, brilliant pale straw and the lively nose is of pears, apricots and white flowers (honeysuckle and hawthorn). In the mouth it is fresh and very nicely balanced with fine acidity, a lingering aftertaste of white fruit and sweet spices. It would be a delightful apéritif or a fine companion for grilled fish and white meats. Drinking beautifully now, it will keep quite nicely for at least three years.
