Maculan Dindarello 2018

Description

Bright straw yellow. Fresh aromatic notes of Moscato Bianco jump from the glass, showcasing white flowers, cinnamon, ginger, grapefruit and orange blossom. Then much thicker and richer in the mouth than the fresh nose lets on, but still lifted thanks to laser-like acidity that nicely extends the flavors of tropical fruit and fresh citrus on the long, suave back end. Finishes much sweeter than it starts but not at all heavy and sticky like some other Passito wines from Italy. Still, I'd drink this sooner rather than later. Drinking window: 2019-2021. Score - 91.
