Description

85% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc. Amazingly concentrated nose of honey and flowers, the palate is richly unctuous with intense layers of pineapple, mango and honey, great depth of flavour underpinned with delicious acidity, lovely wine. Score - 97. (Decanter World Wine Awards, 2018)

Tasting Notes

The 2015 Haut Bergeron has a well-defined, quite linear and correct bouquet with subtle honey and acacia scents. The palate is well balanced, smooth in the mouth with white chocolate tincturing the honeyed fruit. I appreciate the acidity of this Sauternes - more understated than its peers, but sophisticated and well crafted. Bravo! Score - 91-93. (Neal Martin, robertparker.com, April 27, 2016 )
