This white AOC Côtes du Rhône is a blend of 30% Viognier, 20% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne, 15% Clairette and 15% Grenache Blanc The yield was 40 hectolitres per hectare. This is a robust white that reminds one of a good Châteauneuf du Pape blanc. A brilliant yellow with green glints, this vivacious white offers up complex aromas of white flowers, apricots, hazelnuts and honey. It is big and well balanced in the mouth; very satisfying indeed. It cries out for foie gras, grilled fish, shellfish and or goat or ewe cheese. This splendid white will age beautifully for up to five years.
