Tasting Note: '3 Stones' was named to honour the many soldiers of New Zealand who returned from war to find that there was no permanent work. They travelled the country taking jobs where and when they could, leaving small stacks of stones to identify farms where the pay was fair and the food good. Don't be surprised if you find small stones on store shelves pointing you to this value-priced wine, with its rich lychee, nutmeg, apricot and rose-petal aromas and flavours. Try it with a midly spiced Indian dish. (VINTAGES panel, June 2011) Tags: Gewürztraminer, Gewurztraminer, White Wine, Wine
