Side Launch Dark Lager

Description

Launched in Collingwood in 2014, this brewery is crafting an appealing range of beer. This dark lager pours brick brown in colour and has notes of biscuit, roasted malt, coffee, molasses, plums and ripe banana. Medium-bodied and flavourful, with light carbonation and a crisp finish, this is great for burgers and fries.

Tasting Notes

Dark lagers provide rich malty flavours on a refreshing palate. Pouring mahogany with a medium head that has good retention; the nose and palate offer aromas and flavours reminiscent of roast coffee bean, chocolate and red berries; average carbonation and light bitterness create balance and highlight the fruit character.

Serving Suggestion

Pair with roast beef or rich stews.
