Quite remarkable longevity here from this 2008 Cru Bourgeois from Haut Médoc with more than ample fruit lingering on what is a pretty sturdy frame. Acids continue to feast while structurally speaking this has quite obviously done its yeoman work and yet by amazing luck and/or grace there is plenty of fuel and by extension pleasure left in the tank. Really long finish and one just as sweet and generous as how the wine began in the first place. Drink 2023-2026. Tasted April 2023. Score - 92. (Michael Godel, winealign.com)
