Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until well combined.
6. If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts to add some crunch to your Brain Fart.
7. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
9. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the baking dish for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Once cooled, cut into squares or desired shapes and serve. Enjoy your delicious Brain Fart!

Note: You can also add a dusting of powdered sugar or a drizzle of chocolate ganache on top for added sweetness and presentation.
