From a three-acre site with roots back to the late 19th Century, this was aged This whopper has spent 24 months in 100% new French oak. It is a deeply coloured, massive, dense yet balanced cabernet with lifted aromas of classic, mint, pepper, licorice and roasted herbs. Classic cabernet aromatics. It is full bodied, packed to the gunwales with fruit and tannin, and sense of minerality. It needs a long haul in the cellar. The length is outstanding. Tasted Oct 2020. Score - 97.
