Description

From cooler vineyards near the Pacific at the mouth of the Aconcagua Valley comes a very good value, typical Chilean pinot with lifted cranberry fruit, fresh herb/evergreen, some flinty/oniony sulphur and light wood toast. It is light to medium bodied, quite fleshy yet balanced by good acidity. Some tannin and heat bring structure and firmness. The length is very good. It will not sit easily with all, but then some will love it. Tasted July 2023. Score - 88. (David Lawrason, winealign.com)
