A 60-40 blend of Grenache and Syrah, the 2016 Cairanne l'Excellence delivers hints of mocha and baking spices layered over dark, ripe fruit. Full-bodied, supple and creamy in texture, this is a rich, plush wine, with a long, mocha-latte finish. It may not age beyond 4-5 years, but it's certainly a hedonistic one for early enjoyment.
