This is more savory than sweet, with pronounced minerality and silky textures that wash a pure display of white orchard fruits across the palate. It tapers off structured yet a bit shorter than anticipated, leaving nuances of honeydew melon. I typically expect a bigger and riper style from the Grancasale, which has left me very intrigued to see how the 2018 will mature over time. Drinking window: 2023-2028. Score - 91+.
