Description

This offering is triple-distilled and matured in hand-selected Spanish Sherry barrels. It pours a vibrant deep amber colour and has intriguing aromas and flavours of orange, dried apricot, red plum and oak spice. Notes of vanilla, raisin and balsamic lead to a lengthy finish. Pair with shortbread cookies.

Tasting Notes

Orange-tinged medium deep yellow colour. Somewhat peppery, slightly spicy, dusty, dried apple-lemon-plum nose. Dry, medium bodied, peppery, spicy, vanilla-tinged, ripe, plum-lemon-apple flavours with a lingering, high acid, nutty, caramel-tinged finish. Screwcap closure. Has 46% alcohol. Score - 90.
