Description

This Japanese whisky highlights perfect balance with complexity achieved by precise blending. Pours amber with earth, vanilla, dark fruit, honey, and baking spice. Medium-bodied and fruity with a long-lasting, graceful finish. Pair with roast pork alongside root vegetables, Cajun chicken skewers, or savour on its own.

Tasting Notes

Nikka was established in 1934 but it wasn't until recent years that we have seen its whiskies available internationally; a rich golden colour, look for subtle notes of orange, pear and nutmeg on the nose. The palate is rich and oily with flavours of cherry, citrus peel and a lightly peated, medium length finish.

Serving Suggestion

This elegant whisky will pair well with desserts like apple crumble or lemon tarts.
