Bowmore 12 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Description

Established in 1779, Bowmore is the oldest distillery in the Islay region, and the second oldest in Scotland. Their classic 12 Year Old boasts aromas of citrus, heather, honey and earthy smoke. The palate has inflections of orchard fruit, lemon and dark chocolate with delicate notes of sea spray and smoke on the finish.

Tasting Notes

Bowmore is Islay's oldest distillery, and home to the world's oldest maturation warehouse. In this dram there are warming aromas of light peat, honey, cereal and lime. On the palate there is a hint of spice and stewed apple and ends off with a long, lingering finish

Try with dark chocolate or sea salted chips.
