Description

This flavourful dram is expertly crafted in the village of Aberlour using water from the nearby Birkenbush springs and locally grown barley. Aging in American oak and Oloroso sherry casks develops notes of toffee, orchard fruit with hints of anise and almond. This finish is luxurious and smooth with a lively spice nuance.

Tasting Notes

Aged in Oloroso Sherry butts, some of the most precious in use, to create a medium amber dram that is fragrant with fruity notes of red apple. The sherry character is balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness on the palate and finishes with warming and lingering, sweet/slightly spicy replays.

A good partner for a variety of snacks, including dried fruits and cheeses.
