The State Ranch Vineyard is a 23-acre site northeast of Yountville planted in rocky loam and boasting all-day sun exposure. This is a robust Napa Cabernet that delivers impressive black cherry, clove, earth, savoury herbs, and a generous helping of Napa's distinct cassis. This wine's pedigree suggests a drinking window that will extend through the late 2040s at least.
