Description

Produced in Kibbutz Yir'on, this wine is made from sustainably farmed fruit and was aged for six months in stainless steel. It's a generous Merlot featuring characterful blueberry and plum tones atop notes of wild berry and savoury herbs.

Tasting Notes

The Upper Galilee is considered Israel's most visually striking wine region. Mountainous and forested, it features a mix of volcanic, gravel and terra rossa soils. This wine from Golan Heights (founded in 1983) offers impressive structure with generous red fruit and a round, full, complex mouthfeel. Enjoy this with roasted lamb. (Vintages panel, April 2017)
