The 2021 Anna's Red Signature Anna's Estate Vineyard checks in as a blend of 30% Grenache, 28% Syrah, 23% Mourvèdre, 10% Petite Sirah, and smaller amounts of Touriga Nacional, Counoise, and Cinsault that was raised in 30% new French oak barrels and puncheons. Deep ruby/purple-hued, it offers up a wonderful array of wild strawberry and blackberry fruit as well as flower, spice, and peppery, herbal nuances. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, it shows the pure, elegant, incredibly aromatic style of the 2021 vintage brilliantly. I love it. (jebdunnuck.com,Aug. 30, 2023)
