Pretty Brunello with licorice, smoky woodland and ripe black cherries. Medium-bodied, soft and velvety at the start, then thick with an austere finish. Refreshing acidity. Good definition and savoriness here, yet it's mostly fruity. Needs time to develop greater complexity. Tasting Notes

Montalcino's long growing season creates Brunellos that are luxurious and age-worthy, like this one with flavours of blackberry, raspberry and earth. Decant for two hours and serve with rare steaks or roast leg of lamb, or cellar for up to 10 years.
